A new Japanese Pokémon set is being released on September 16, 2026: *30th Celebration* is the eighth release in the "Mega Era" series and celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon TCG.

30th Celebration focuses on three things:

1. Classic Collection: The Classic Collection is a retrospective of the Pokémon TCG's 30-year history, featuring one card selected from each year for re-release. These are primarily cards that were powerful in the game's "meta" during the year they were originally released. Expectation: 1 Classic Collection card per box.

2. Pikachu, Pikachu, Pikachu: 30 different artists have each illustrated a Pikachu card; legendary artists like Mitsuhiro Arita, as well as more niche artists like Ooyama, have created a Pikachu for the anniversary. In the Japanese Booster Box, you can expect 1 Pikachu card per pack. This means you get 20 Pikachu cards from a box; the intention is to avoid duplicates, resulting in 20 unique Pikachu cards.

3. Unique art: In addition to the throwback cards and Pikachu cards, the anniversary set also features unique illustrations, including a Jirachi card with art by Egawa, a beautiful Sylveon, and two festive-themed SAR-rarity Pikachu cards. There is also a new rarity tier called FUR (Futuristic Ultra Rare).
